Major Changes to UAE Visa System
The UAE has introduced significant changes to its visa system in 2024, making it easier for tourists, remote workers, and job seekers to visit.
New Visa Categories
Job Exploration Visa: Allows job seekers to enter UAE without a sponsor.
Remote Work Visa: For digital nomads working remotely for overseas employers.
Multi-Entry Tourist Visa: 5-year visa allowing multiple entries up to 90 days each.
Green Visa: For skilled workers, freelancers, and investors with self-sponsorship.
Fee Adjustments
Visa fees have been revised. Tourist visa now starts from AED 250 (approx. ₦85,000). Express processing fees increased slightly but processing times reduced.
Entry Requirements
COVID-19 restrictions have been fully lifted. No testing or vaccination proof required. Travel insurance is recommended but not mandatory.
